Celestara LLC ("Celestara," "we," "us," or "our") operates EchoSight AI, a wearable assistive-technology project designed to help blind and low-vision individuals navigate their surroundings. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process when you visit our website, join our waitlist, or participate in our pilot testing program, and how that information is handled.
EchoSight AI is currently a pre-launch, early-stage project. This policy will be expanded and updated as the product moves from pilot testing toward general availability.
On-Device Camera Processing
The core design principle of EchoSight AI is that camera-based scene detection runs locally on the wearable device. This means video captured for obstacle, door, staircase, traffic-light and text detection is processed on the device itself to generate spoken guidance, and is not streamed to Celestara's servers or stored off the device by default.
Where a future feature requires optional connectivity (for example, downloading improved detection models), we will clearly disclose what data, if any, leaves the device before that feature is enabled.
Information We Collect
We collect information you choose to give us, such as when you join our waitlist, apply to become a pilot tester, or contact us directly. This may include:
- Your name and email address
- Information you share about your interest in the pilot program, such as your location or mobility needs, if you choose to provide it
- Any other information you include in messages sent to info@celestarallc.com
We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit our website, such as browser type and general usage patterns, to help us maintain and improve the site.
How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to your inquiries and manage waitlist or pilot-program communications

Children's Privacy
Our website and pilot program are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental involvement.

As EchoSight AI moves from a pilot project toward a shipped product, this policy will be updated to reflect new features, data practices, and legal requirements. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
